Temple Gems is an online shooter about colored balls, in the Zuma genre! The game is made in the spirit of the old classics: Zuma Deluxe and Zuma's Revenge! If you liked the mysterious stone frog and the rolling balls from those games, you'll find the same idea here: a chain of gems rolls toward a pit, and you have to stop it! In Temple Gems you shoot from a turtle idol, go through six ancient temples, and at the end of each one you fight a stone guardian. It won't be easy! :)

How to Play

Shoot the balls to get 3 balls of the same color next to each other! That's all there is to it! When you destroy all the balls on the field, you win!

A chain of gem balls rolls along a carved stone groove toward a pit. The turtle idol in the center shoots gems. Shoot the gems and gather them together in groups of three or more, and they will shatter. If the chain reaches the pit, you lose one life.

Destroy the whole chain of gem balls to complete the level.

Temples and Levels

The game has 6 unique temples with 5 levels each, 30 levels in total. Every temple has its own unique design and atmosphere! Each temple has four regular levels, and the fifth is a fight with a guardian! Shoot the guardian. It's the only way to defeat it and complete the level!

All temples and levels:

• Jaguar Temple: Jungle Coil, Rainbow Gate, Stepped Pyramid, Inside Out, Jaguar Guardian
• Serpent Temple: Lagoon Eye, Serpent Braid, Twin Coils, Serpent Knot, Serpent Guardian
• Moon Temple: Sun Wheel, Racetrack, Two Rivers, The Coil, Moon Guardian
• Rain Temple: Sunken Steps, Lotus Ring, Reed Braid, Rain's Eye, Rain Guardian
• Star Temple: Crystal Knot, Twin Geodes, Star Wheel, Crystal Rainbow, Star Guardian
• Sun Temple: Lava Braid, Ember Ring, Sun's Eye, Lava Rivers, Sun Guardian

Each temple has its own look: jungle, lagoon, night, a flooded temple, a crystal cave and a volcano.

On some levels two chains run at the same time (Twin Coils, Two Rivers, Twin Geodes, Lava Rivers). On others the grooves cross, and gems that roll under a bridge can't be reached until they come out from under it.

You can earn up to three stars for each level:

• for finishing the level
• for finishing without losing a life
• for a record time

Guardians

The last level of each temple is a fight with a guardian. The guardian is a huge stone face at the top of the field, and the chain rolls into its mouth. You need to break up the chains of balls and find a chance to shoot the guardian directly. That's the only way to defeat it!

But defeating a guardian is not easy:

• After each attack, the stone shutters over its heart open for a few seconds.
• During this time you need to hit the heart stone through a gap in the chain.
• When the meter is full, the idol itself strikes the heart.
• The burning stones on the guardian's forehead show how many more hits it can take. The Jaguar Guardian can take 6, and the Sun Guardian can take 12.

Each guardian has its own set of attacks. They can push the chain of balls forward, change their color, lock them in chains and more! The Sun Guardian uses several abilities at once!

Power-ups

• Reverse: the chain rolls backward for a few seconds
• Slow: the chain crawls three times slower
• Accuracy: an aiming line and faster shots
• Blast: destroys all gems nearby
• Lightning: hits all gems of its own color
• Rainbow: the next gem matches any color

Gems, Coins and Treasures

• The game has 6 gem colors: ruby, sapphire, emerald, topaz, amethyst and pearl.
• Stone gems can only be broken by an explosion right next to them.
• Gold chains: the first explosion breaks the chain, the next one breaks the gem.
• Gold coins: hit them to collect extra points.
• Treasures: big explosions toss them into the air. The sun disc, the big ruby and the jade pendant give points, and the turtle amulet gives an extra life.

Game Controls

• Mouse: aim, and the left button shoots
• Right button or space bar: swap the gem in the turtle's beak with the gem on its shell
• Arrow keys and Enter: aim and shoot from the keyboard (hold Shift to turn slower)
• Touch screen: drag and release to shoot, tap the idol to swap gems
• P or Esc: pause
